A: Thread lifting is not dangerous when performed correctly by experienced physicians only, using certified dissolvable threads. After 6-18 months, the threads dissolve harmlessly. Proper thread lifting techniques create elastin fibers that support the skin, similar to natural tendons in the body.
A: Subcutaneous fibrosis is actually scar tissue under the skin caused by collagen production. Thread lifting not only lifts the skin but also stimulates beneficial collagen formation for long-term firmness.
